Terms of Use

Last updated: August 31, 2026

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using RFP you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity on your account. One account may be used both to host events and to bid as a vendor.

3. Requests and bids

Party planners are responsible for the accuracy of the requests they post. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their bids and for delivering the services they are awarded. RFP is a marketplace and is not a party to the agreement between a planner and a vendor.

4. Payments and platform fee

When a bid is awarded, the planner pays a 20% deposit through the platform — the RFP platform fee is 10% of the bid, capped at $100 per vendor per event, and the rest of the deposit is forwarded to the vendor. The remaining 80% balance is paid through the platform before the event and is forwarded to the vendor. Payments are processed by our payment provider; you agree to their terms as well.

5. Prohibited conduct

Do not post unlawful, misleading, infringing, or abusive content; do not attempt to move transactions off the platform to avoid fees; do not misuse other users' contact information.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Planners may delete a request before awarding a bid. After an award, cancellations and refunds are handled case by case; deposits may be non-refundable where a vendor has already reserved the date.

7. Content you upload

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload and grant RFP a license to display them within the service for the purpose of running the marketplace.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RFP is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of planners or vendors.

9. Termination

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
